I don't know what the hell is wrong with Nintendo. Apologies if this is slightly off topic, but I am (was) a life-long Nintendo fan until this week. My particular problem is that my gamepad charger has stopped working and, I have now learned, Nintendo does not sell replacements. There are some cheap Chinese equivalants on eBay but I don't particularly want my house to burn down, so I would rather have an official product. I contacted Nintendo about this and they want to charge me 53 damn quid for a replacement. How is Nintendo going to capture the core gamer when they can't look after their existing customers? Our Wii U is collecting dust because we can't charge the gamepad and the console is useless without it. We've also taken the games we bought the kids for Christmas back to the store as they won't be able to play them. Very dissapointed.
I would have started a new topic with this but I don't yet have the requisite 50 posts. Could someone post on my behalf?
Ta!
