Not innovative. Been done on the PC before the PS4 game out. They're very useful for sure though.

No, they weren't. Steam added support to play as you download months after Sony annouced it. And PS4 install times are unprecedent. Tell me a 38GB game like Killzone that installs and is ready to play in 2 minutes on any other platform.

What the heck are you talking about? Steam isn't the only distribution platform on PC. The tech was around before that and I don't even think steam allows it yet. Heck WoW wasn't even the first. I played and downloaded a game at the same time before the PS4 was annonced. My PC on my SSD installs and plays a 38GB game that quick. Next?
