- I have no idea what you just said....

- I have a ps plus and when I had a Ps3 i "bought" the free ps4 games that they released  so that I would have a lot of ps4 games when I get one.

- well it didn't work for me?

- as far as you know? Where?  When did they say that? As far as I know they are releasing final fantasy vii for ps4 at a premium price even though it's the same exact game and they probably want us to buy them all over again or stream them on ps now. Which is total bull if you ask me.

- Well at its current state it is. I honestly never bought a console that I stopped playing the same day and left it without use for awhile :/

Don't worry though I'm waiting for bloodborne or something but at the current state it isn't worth having in my opinion. Especially if you're on the fence on buying it. The graphical differences between it and the previous generation are not worth the extra money they are barely worth noting too.

Most of your complaints seem to have something to do with you not knowing that there is a "Library" on PS4 where you can see all purchased/downloaded games and sort them by various factors.

Regarding the play while you download thing: You need to download a small part of the game first before you can start playing. You can not start playing immediately for obvious reasons (there needs to be some data to play...). Most retail games seem to be 15GB+ but for many you only have to download a few gigs to start playing.
