I played with it a few rounds. It's fairly comfortable. I like the shoulder buttons a little better, since they're not springy like the cube's. On the other hand, I like the cube controller's deformed C-stick better.
Honestly, they're probably about even. Difference is probably how used to using the Gamecube controller people are. Unless you're a super competitve player I doubt it will be too different.
