Missed the easy to develop for part then? And yes if it sold really well it would get it 3rd party support, but being powerful alone isn't enough to make it sell well, there are other factors as well.

There are several factors, yes. They wont make their next console read BR discs for example. That would mean paying licence fees and if its one thing Nintendo hates, its just that...
