I've yet to see a sony fan deny the npd is accurate this month. I honestly feel like it's a fabrication to make sony fans look more butt hurt than we actually are (not at all). But I have to agree with the OP, that NPD isn't that important. It provides good data, but it would have been REALLY bad for xbox if it didn't win this month.
