So much for SSB being a massive system seller.

From the same PR that leads people to claim 242k (although it's actually "at least 247.5k", if we're talking NPD as accurate), we get this: "In fact, the week of Nov. 23 was the biggest single week of Wii U hardware sales since the system launched in November 2012"

But please, don't let facts get in the way.

So Black Friday prevented the Wii U from having an abolutely dreadful month?  Or conversly, Wii U sales have been so bad in the US that a single week can overshadow 103 previous weeks despite the lauch of a number of high profile titles in that time frame?

You do realise that those previous weeks include the previous Black Friday, as well as the December month where Nintendo has always done best, right?

I always find it funny when people try to turn positives into negatives, by the way. "Wii U has best week of sales yet" becomes "it did even worse before".

I also find it funny that you tried to cast this as "an abolutely[sic] dreadful month". Is it incredibly high? No. But a quarter of a million people bought Wii Us in that month. I'd like to see you achieve that sort of sell-through of any product.
