From the same PR that leads people to claim 242k (although it's actually "at least 247.5k", if we're talking NPD as accurate), we get this: "In fact, the week of Nov. 23 was the biggest single week of Wii U hardware sales since the system launched in November 2012"
But please, don't let facts get in the way.
EDIT: Is anybody even the slightest bit surprised, once you consider that there is just one week of Smash Bros in that month? Based on Nintendo's PR, they did over 150k in that one week.
