MS will make a push for Tax month, expect a similar push as to what we've seen for BF. As for the other 5 months, PS4 will continue to lead yes. I imagine MS will want to try and start selling more than PS4 earlier than November next year tho. Probably E3, is when they'l start releasing all of their games, and a proper price cut, leading into 2016 having a good plan for games all year round.

Note, I am sayng this is likely their plan/aim, won't neccesserily happen.

They will do something that is a sure bet, but so is sony.  Whiel MS already launched 2 of the biggest franchises, we both know PS4 has not gotten a top 3 PS franchise yet.  MS is runing up a hill and its gonna get much steaper soon.

MS strategy is well known, and to easy for sony to counter.

Halo 5 is the true first entry for Halo this gen. Fable (although I argue it has any relevance) and Gears have yet to launch. MS will make their splash by buying big IP going forward, ala Tomb Raider.

Sony have some amazing IP but it isn't the reason PS4 has been leading, just like it didn't help them to get remotely close in the US last gen.

If MS get the price/value down, it's gonna be hard for Sony to compete in US.

Of course Sony can price cut themselves.

None of it is clear cut I'll say that.

Its still halo already on xbox and we seen the expectations.  Exclusives didnt do much for PS3, but to say they wont do much for PS4 is foolish.  Two different product in different market positions as the PS4 is a massive success a stream of exclusives and their marketing will easily punch it past X1 for much of the year.  Then of course MS will try to out do all that come the holidays.  Which they wont as they wont out do this years PS4 sales advantage these holidays.  PS4 will continue leading America while ms will have to go balls out for X1 to bein the 45% share range.
