Nintendo Rumored to be Working on Mii Wii/DS Integration

They really are making a new model of DS? Even though the DS Lite is doing well? I wonder what the reasoning is... Mii support alone can't be it; I'm sure they can find a way to update the DS firmware via the Wii as it is.
