1) I really don't hear any noice from my system. But, as long as it doesn't change the size of the system... I guess. But, I don't see this as a issue. |
1. WiiU is loudest console of 8th gen console.
2. We agree. Nintendo still selling 8gb bundle with the rise in popularity of digital, just shows how much Nintendo is being the current trend. Most complain about the size of the 500gb Xbone and PS4 HD.
3. Compare the WiiU hardware to the competitions, WiiU need to have a competitive price. How else do you achieve cost saving? Unless they can keep the gamepad and charge $199.99, they need radical change.
4. Yes I'm talking a complete redesign like Xbox slim and PS3 Slim replace the current WiiU sure the power brick can stay but this is one of the most loved design feature of the PS4. I say look at what the customer wants.
5. In other word your saying they should own a PS4 and Xbox One to watch blu-ray. People still watch DVD and Blu-ray given the choice it might actually attact customer to buy a WiiU.... selling feature also serve as a blu-ray player.... they have all the components Disc drive, operating system and menu. It could be done for much cheaper then you think.
6. They might alienate current base but it's so small right now that it's not a factor and beside current WiiU owners gain by having a bigger install base and more games.
7. The 8GB basic bundle is problem with Nintendo, people don't want these bundle and they are hardly selling. They could make a huge marketing splash by simply selling a 32gb white bundle. Xbox one and PS4 are power house compare to the WiiU, gamepad adds no value and Nintendo can't afford to have their console price any where close to the competition. They choose to have cheap hardware compare to competition, well they need to deliver on cheaper overall price. $250 is no longer a subjection but a must. Just look at this year sale, customers rather pick up a $350 Xbox One or $399 PS4. WiiU at $299.99 is hardly the low cost leader.
8. New colors is the cheapest, best marketing short term boost. Just look at all the special edition 3DS. Super smash brother edition WiiU.... Limited edition are big for marketing and create interest. It's not long term fix but anything to sell WiiU's.
