While I expected XBOne to edge PS4 in November (which they did...barely) it's surprising to me how little (if the rumors are true) they won buy considering they were $50 cheaper and some retailers (target at least) also offered another $50 gift card on top of that and had an AC game (I know it reviewed terribly, the public does not).
While, good job to MS for winning the month they basically pulled out ALL the stops. $100 price cut (no kinect). $50 price cut for holidays. Additional $50 gift cards. AAA games that are not remasters. So, $100 cheaper and better games (arguably) lead to marginal victory. Congrats to MS for winning and to Sony for taking all the punches keeping it close.
