Wow just checked, Gamecube sold 750k in November 2003 (the equivalent November month for Wii U's Nov 2014).
So 750k vs. 240k ... yeah I don't think Wii U is catching GameCube. And yes I realize the GCN was $99.99 that holiday, but no one's forcing Nintendo to stick with the GamePad and keep the Wii U at $299.99.
Wii U will finish with like 16-18 million LTD I suspect.
