Yeah, the momentum bar is kinda off right now. It does seem up for grabs for this type of game though. Who knows. Nintendo has literally shown nothing about the game even with the demo.

When Aonuma jumped from the horse in the bullet time segment, it should have the momentum bar depleting. Maybe rather than a magic bar is the momentum one.

 

Also, use X for sword. And some video, I belive GameXplain analysis one, mentioned that addly Aonuma pushed the X button rather than the B one. Coincidence?
