The Souls fanbase is pretty dedicated. They know that BB is the next souls game. There is a lot on MS/PC that are pissed that Sony moneyhatted it  but I would still says a good 50%-60% were already on Sony. Some players on PC/MS are going to buy a PS4 for this. Demons' Souls was a PS exclusive owned by Sony. Bloodborne is a spiritual successor that's also a Sony property. That's like complaining that Nintendo moneyhatted Metroid, or MS moneyhatted Fable.

That is a terrible analogy. DeS was Sony then the franchises' spiritual successor DaS went console multiplat, then PC and now back to Sony with its newest iteration(though the DaS2 re-release  is still multiplat.) A better analogy would be if mainline Final Fantasy(FF15) went back to Sony. Either way my point is there is a dedicated fanbase and a sizeable percent (I would say minimum 20%)of that fanbase is being cut off.
