This x100. Nintendo proper in Japan is badly out of touch with Western audiences, which is the root of most of the Wii U's problems. |
Boom and boom. This has been driving me crazy ever since I purchased my Wii U. I don't remember feeling like a minority as an American Nintendo fan during the lifespan of the GCN, or even the first half of the Wii era. It seems that ever since the home console market began to shrink in Japan, they've be home almost isolationist in their creatovory and decision making. If the efforts they're making to recapture the home-market please you, then you're in luck. If they don't, Nintendo doesn't seem terribly concerned. It's like we're an extreme afterthought despite being their largest audience.
