oh ya right?? well i guess in my short time at New York i didn't get the full picture... |
Actually, I read that the Reader's Digest did a survey in a lot of major cities around the world (Tokyo, London, Paris, Mexico City, New York, Toronto, Chicago, Bejing, Los Angeles, Moscow, Cairo, Buenos Aires, Montreal, Sao Paulo, and a few others I can't seem to remember) and they did different things like see if people would help you if you dumped papers all over the street or needed help opening a door because your hands were full, and New York scored higher than any other city (don't remember how they computed the score, but NYC got an 82. Paris and London got 52 and 55 respectively) Also, I live in New York State and I have to say the people are a lot nicer than some places I've been. (Like Pennsylvania) However, the people down south in like Washington DC and North Carolina are a LOT more friendly than in New York.
OT: I think the U.S. is the greatest country on earth. Yes, we have our problems, but all in all, I can't think of any other country I'd rather live in. Maybe that would change if I traveled more, but for now, I'll just stay right here.
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it
