Will PS4/XB1 be more front loaded than PS3/360?

Yeah I agree with your prediction. PS4 and X1 will peak much sooner. X1 will peak next year provided they permanently drop the price to $349 and then $299 in the holidays. PS4 I think will peak in 2016. And considering this console generation is expected to finish much sooner than the last one, I doubt there is any chance either console will peak towards the end of the generation. 

There's no reason why this gen will be shorter then previous one
