Maybe "countering" is the wrong word, but Phil did say, he is working on making amends for Street Fighter V.

If anything MS should top the SFV anouncement since fighting games aren't really that popular anymore not even Smash for did much for the Wii U and that is a lot more popular then Street Fighter which is way past its prime and peaked in popularity with Street Fighter II on the SNES.

Aaaaaand I won't quote you anymore.

The numbers don't lie here is proof that Street Fighter peaked with the second game.
