I'm expecting Nintendo to announce a new Pokemon game for the Wii U and New 3DS which will use Pokemon cards with NFC chips. Cards with NFC chips is going to happen because people are going to start to run out of room for the figurines, they're going to be cheaper to produce and because it suits the franchise down to the ground.
And if you thought that the demand for amiibo was a bit mental, wait until these Pokemon cards appear lol
