I live in Melbourne and work with a lot of Asians. Racism against Asians is pretty much non-existent here, the Asian racism was mainly in Queensland I believe. NSW had a lot of racism (Cronulla riots) but that was less to do with racists and more to do with gangs.
I have seen very little evidence of racism in Melbourne, you get some idiots, but you'll get that anywhere.
