My question is when the 360 was getting a lot of Indie games over the PS3, a lot of people who owned a PS3 did not care. Now the PS4 is getting a lot of indie games over the X1 and suddenly the bar has changed.

Its great that the PS4 is receiving a lot of indie games but until one of those games become system sellers not sure if it really makes a difference. Also, just because no announcement of an X1 version does not mean this will not change over time. When all is said and done, I am sure these developers want as many people playing their game as possible.

I don't think that's true at all. I for one know that I've seen a lot of positive comments about xb360 games from sony fans. Myself, I loved lots of indies on 360.
From what I remember ps3 actually had the better indie lineup, and there were lots of very vocal members about the awesome indie games available. Just ask bedgenome.

And actually, if I remember correctly, it was xbox fans who were always talking about how the xb360 indie game selection was amazing, and then when ps went ahead and said they had 140 indies coming or whatever, xb fans called it the indiestation and suddenly indie games didn't matter. Just like you're implying right now that indie's don't matter (in italics)

Well I have to say I vist a lot of forums and I do not remember any real positive remarks from people who only gamed on the PS3.  I remember then ignoring indie or XBLG and dismissign those games just like we see today.  Basically what I am saying is that the bar is always moving and both sides continue a war over really nothing.

When all is said and done its always people who champion one console over another that see importance in even the smallest thing.  I am sure if all the games listed come to the X1 then there would be a new bar stating they came out on the PS4 first or something like that.  These forums are filled with a moving target for both sides as they argue why one console is better than the other.
