To be honest though the personal computer interface of a screen + keyboard + mouse largely remained the same for about 25-30 years and it's still a predominant interface especially in the workplace.
So maybe the smartphone interface will remain largely the same. It just works well and there isn't a huge reason to change it.
I think the biggest change will eventually be the voice stuff, once Siri and what not gets even better then it maybe more possible to interface fully with the phone just with voice.
