What downgrade? The model seems to be the same! The difference is that in the first pic Nathan is wet and in the second it's not.Plus there is a moonlight on the first pic and ambient light on the second.
are people really that much desperate trying to bash this game?

the difference is that the teaser was more detailed. The hair is particularly noticeable.
and as I said, neither is in game. the actual in game graphics are less detailed than either image.

The hair was hide in the shadows in the first pic.It's probably the same hair but the night shadows + moonlight was giving a better look.Different lightning can cause better or worse IQ,that is my point. look at watch dogs at night rainning and compare with daylight no rain.It's a totally different IQ.

What I see is that on the left hairs is near perfection, that's a level of realisme I've never seen before. And on the right, you can see approximations (I suppose it come from the different layers of transparency), triangles and aliasing, and that's not bad, but that's not really impressive.
Anyway, more than the hair difference that I don't really care about, the 15 minutes footage is a jungle again, and I've already seen pretty great jungle years before. What was very impressive in the trailer was exactly that, rain, moonlight and shadows, and what the gameplay video shows is a plain jungle we are already used to. I don't think anyone can impress me with an uncharted's style jungle I've already seen 3 times.
