@ZenfoldorVGI's question to me: Making as much of an educated guess as I can, based on Microsoft's history thus far, I'd say the controller would be sold separately, seeing as they seem to like making money on accessories. Also, they might make "Arcade" style bundles, including a base system with the controller and possibly a title that takes advantage of the controls (like Wii with Wii Sports), intended for the more casual market, but I don't see them abandoning the original 360 controller. Forcing people to adopt a new controller, just to play future games would piss alot of consumers off, and we can admit we consumers are rabid and on the edge, lol.
