Well, if i'm being honest i haven't played SSB in 5+ years, so my opinion of it may have changed (I've been meaning to try it out again to get a more updated opinion), but i can't say i enjoyed my previous experiences with the series.
Mario Kart on the other hand is a delight, with MK8 being a very strong contender for the best of the series (based on my time with it). I'd probably still pick Super Circuit over it though. Nostalgia is a helluva drug.
