Can Mario ever be cool again?

Hmm, I never really found Mario 'cool'. Very likable and fun, but never 'cool'. But I was a 90s kid, so the adjective 'cool' was reserved for things like Crossfire and anything that started with X-treme. Not so much for chubby Italian plumbers.
