Well 1st off don't call it murder, it was during wartime. 2nd do you know what the alternative was? It would of been a direct invasion which would of extended the war and drain Japan's already depeleted resources, and the invasion would've cost thousands of U.S and Japanese lives. And the Soviets were planning to invade too, they wanted to end the war, it could've been Germany all over again, with parts of Japan being controlled and split by the world. I bring this up because you can't really say the Atom Bomb was the wrong Or right thing to do, it was part of a list of weak alternatives.

What would you have done?

Except Japan was in the middle of negociating peace with the soviets.

I don't call it murder, i made a comparison, which is far from being the same. I still call war mass murder but i can understand why people would disagree and that's not the subject here anyway.

War was over everywhere else, the only option to japan was to surrender and they knew it. Also I can guess that Nagasaki may have seemed to be the only solution at some point, but Hiroshima 3 days later really ?
