Is that why it's been getting huge discounts? It's been practically given away lately. You only do that when you are trying to meet a sales projection. Not saying the game flopped, but it was expected to sell more by EA. 

Well true but EA  as a company are run by idiots. 7 million sales is really good and especially for a new IP. expecting more is unrealistic.  Even bfore it was heavily discounted, it passed 3 million sales. that alone was pretty good for a new IP.  Theres a possibility MS might buy it and keep it exclusive.

Unless you borrow yoru friends game or share your origin account, then you would have to buy the game itself to play online. It was 7 million different people. Theres no two players playing at one time with the same copy of the game
