If you do a cartoon version of an animal that does exist in real life or is losely based on something that exists in real life etc  you dont just go and make everything make sense and then add a detail like a belly button (which is completely unneeded since its not supposed to be realistic) but move the belly button to the butthole position.... or move the right eye where the titties should be  etc. You simply dont do it unless its supposed to be abstract on purpose which in the pokemon example is not the case. Sexual organs missing in pokemon is not an oversight because its not relevant since its not a realistic game at all.

This would be abstract on purpose





btw TLOU is supposed to be a realistic game. If you dont add buttholes its an oversight because you fail at being realistic because the focus is on being realistic. Attention to detail would be adding a nodding dog to a cars dashboard in this case becase the nodding dog is completely optional the the main focus of the design.

back to your texture coment. Then SSBU is the same as SSB 64 because they are made of polygons and texture.

I compare a model (wall even if can have as few as 1 surface. Well lets call it room instead) to a 3d model (face with several surfaces) both have  or have not depending on artstyle  textures and shaders applied to them. Filling the face with photoshop "pores" is no attention to detail.  Adding individual scars and moles and wrinkles can be.

You compare a whole product to another whole product rofl (my logic would be SmashU is a game Smash 64 also is).. I never said a Naughty Dog face is a Counter Strike wall. I said the pores on them are nothing else than the structure on a CS wall and thats 100% correct.

But whatever. You are right. Smash WiiU is smash 64 and using STRG+V on every single face is attention to detail. Btw giving humans "skin color" is also attention to detail.
