Aw, it's okay, Hatchet, your heart's in the right place, but yeah, with how many threads that he's started, I don't think he's really as worried as staying rigidly on topic as he is in simply stimulating discussion points.

If you'd like, I'll keep an eye on the thread and send you a PM if it seems to be going down in flames so you can lock it.

 

But back on topic. Maple Syrup, hmm? Doesn't a lot of that come from Canada? Does it taste better up there since it's fresh? Are pancakes the more popular breakfast item, or do waffles have them beat? and has anyone had it fresh from the tree at all? what's that like?
