Technically, you could argue that people are posting about America as a way to make a contrast their opinions of Canada. As well as giving examples to refute perceived inaccuracies about how people view Canada.
If we go strictly on topic as stated by the OP and Title of this thread, only Americans and no Canadian's should even be posting in this thread at all, and it would only be "I think this, no matter how retarded it is" at which point, this thread has even less value than spam.
The whole fun of threads like this is the ability to debate back and forth perceived notions and at least have a chance for people to expand their perception of the world around them and give them the ability to question things they may otherwise take for granted.
Also, responding to comments about a Canadian's perception would also be a method of stating our perception of Canda as well, though not as directly.
