Well said. Not to mention that locking the sales thread of a recent week just to please 2008ProchargedGT (or anybody else) would be an abuse towards the majority of users that could still like to discuss the sales for a while in a perfectly on-topic way, particularly if there will be adjustments, or comparing them to BF week or other significant weeks sales. If there are OTs that blatantly bait other users to derail an important thread, the right thing to do is reporting them, but not asking for a thread lock.
