It seems like the numbers are weighted extremely heavily by those WoW subscribers. I mean, that's basically 10 million people paying $20/month right there, so that's a couple billion dollars a year that I'm sure is unequaled by the rest of the industry as a whole.

Finally, how much of that PC game revenue came from soccer moms registering a copy of Bejeweled or some such?

First, let me say that I'm suspicious of this report.

With that said, both of your bolded arguments are specious. As to the first, it's not relevant how weighted revenue is; that's like taking the Wii out of console sales.  Suddenly, without Nintendo, console manufacturers have lost a combined 5 billion dollars in the last 4 years! Dear lord, the console world is collapsing!

As to the second, that's completely irrelevant, as revenue takes into account a game's retail price. Or put more specifically, it doesn't matter if the sales came from 100 copies of Guitar Hero PC at 70 dollars or from 700 copies of Bejeweled at 10 dollars; they end up equalling the same revenue, and the point of the report is that PC revenue > Console revenue.
