What if just some other players beat ur score in that week?
If u want to estimate at least something out of ranking numbers, u need to use the last place.
And if 300k was the last week lowest number, that would be some very poor sales

Read the OP man... that is an lvl 1 acc with 20k points that was ranked around 300k and now is close to 600k over a weekend.

My main account is lvl 48 with 13M points around 6k in the ranks... so yes that is a good estimate in the increase unless you have some other interpretation.

 

IF my main acc had gone from rank 300k to 600k the game would have sold massively... and it is basically impossible to have such a sharp drop in the ranks of any game over a weekend while you are playing 12h a day.

I just know that this game sold no where near 300k units that weekend.

And if ur lvl 1 acc was at 300k before the weekend.
What sales did u estimate from that figure? More? the same, or less?
And if ur lvl 1 acc is now at 600k. Does the same apply? Because in that case, the game must have sold 500k or even more.
Or maybe 100k units were sold (would be a high number)and now everyone of them made 3 accs to be in the online ranking.

What doesn't make sense is your downplay of anything Sony.

You just know because you have tracked its sales, including digital? This is the same "know" you used in your logical discussion over the Sony shipments, that states your wishes as reality based on evidence and other people evidence as conjectures? I have seen it before and wasn't impressed over your conclusions.

VGC had the game at about 670k for the week before BF when the ranking was around 300k. I would think it was a little overtracked, but maybe half the players only entered the game...

Now we have at least another 300k new accounts on the DC... so a double in the fanbase is unlikely (and I didn't claimed that, I claimed 35% increase in the total, and the only report we have is a 999% on UK, so I don't know what is your source), but even more unlikely is everybody before this weekend had 1 acc but suddenly all the new "100k" buyers decided to make 3 accounts just after buying the game and you call that logic...

Why this desperate need to downplay anything Sony do?
