Unfortunately, we don't really know what close meant. It could be almost 9 million. I assume that they are either close to 10 or at ten now. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if they will make an official announcement on shipped, or sold. The problem they run into is the counter announcement from Sony, which has to pushing 17 million. And Lord knows, if Microsoft says anything, Sony will respond by Friday. Whatever announcement they make needs to come before Sony because it has time to be incubated before Sony drops their bomb. If they go after Sony, the response will be very muted.
