To hack a big company like this and especially gaining that much information *and* data is, in hacking context, a very big achievement and shows that there was a lot of effort put into this and that the security concepts were not as professional as they should be.
This is surely harming people but I am talking about what the hackers achieved with their hacking. I don't remember anything that big in the recent years. This is not me being happy this happened to Sony, to be clear.

I work in IT and especially for an ISP, so my everyday business is networking and security so I guess my glasses are just different in this context.
