Regular 3DS is pretty much sold out in the UK it would seem, though Amazon have one for £136 without any games included I saw.

But yeah here, your options are 2DS which is about the same price as a Vita + Memory Card + Download Voucher for games if it has a game bundled. Or 3DS XL which costs a good chunk more without anything included.

Never seen such expensive memory cards, you can import 64gb cards from Japan for less than that! >_< In the UK, it's 4gb/8gb/16 cards with a download pack of games (Mega Pack, Indie Pack, Racing Pack, Lego Pack, Action Pack etc.) for £20-£30-£40 for the most part.

That said, I really don't get why they don't start putting a decent amount of onboard memory on the systems. I get when it was proprietary memory cards they had the premium because of that, but 1gb onboard is a joke. I don't get why they don't just shove 32-128gb onboard and be done with it.

Well, handheld gaming is supposed to be cheaper than home console gaming. A 32 gb memory card would add 15-25 € more to the original price. 1-4gb is fine if someone is never going to use the digital store. But yeah, there's no reason why the XL model doesn't have 8-16gb at least. It comes without AC adaptor already, they should at least guarantee memory space.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
