I know selling in Japan is better for some companies, some AAA games there can cost the equivalent of 80 ~ 100 dollars, life FFs and Dragon Quest.
I think distribution isnt that much a bigger cost in Europe, it must be like the USA, wich is a country many times bigger than the entire European Continent.
And costs with translation are fixed, once they`re paid everything that comes in is pure profit.
