55%? Does this game look anywhere near as bad as Sonic Boom to you? 55% is what I would give a game that forces you to basically replay it four times over to get to the real ending (I see you're playing Bravely Default). In all seriousness, BD is a good game, the final just ruined every enjoyment I had with it.
Anyway I don't take XGN or any other "professional" reviewer all that seriously when they keep rating yearly franchises like CoD and Assassins Creed that high.
I'm pretty sure these guys broke the review embargo as well considering the link on metacritic is dead. Plus it's a Dutch site, Europe doesn't get Captain Toad this year. Makes me wonder if they even played it.

Idk, I'm no expert, but it seems kind of a meh simple kids type of game. Critics' opinions seemed mixed on those types of games, especially this gen.

A meh simple kids type of game? You have Nintendo on your name, if you consider this game kiddie, what the hell do you consider many other Nintendo games? Just because something is cute and pretty, doesn't mean it is kiddie. The levels in 3D World were great, the music is great, it fills my heart with joy and happiness and makes me smile. Does that mean I'm a kid?
It was just a review, a fake one, the link doesn't even open. People jump to conclusions so quickly, they don't like to invest time understanding things and finding out the truth. Many big review sites are looking forward a lot for Captain Toad. And who really cares? I have played the levels in 3D World, I know what I am expecting, and many others that have done the same thing.

No I love Mario and all, but this game in particular just seems simpler and more kid oriented than usual.
