Sony almost got the rights (or some type or "right") to some of Nintendos IPs i belive for a game or something, so Nintendo backed out of the deal and went with phillips, and the most ironic thing is that it was Phillips who ended up with the rights to a Mario and Zelda game and then the worst Mario and Zelda game were born, on the Phillips CDI
