they are probably gonna cut the price next year as well. Q1 has some big third party games that MS are probably counting on pushing the Xb1, though exclusive wise they are gonna have to compete with a very strong PS4 exclusive lineup. though i do see them having a tough jan- august. then a price drop in september once games start to release and they go all out in sept-dec. im guessing we will see a 299$ price with a free game or two next year this same time, or even a 279$ or a 250$ price for an xbox one.
