Actually there were two different KKKs. The original that was formed before/during the Civil War can't be called "evil" due to them defending what the Confederate States of America believed in meaning they were being nobel for their country. Also they didn't do any pointless murderings of African Americans during the years of version 1, the killed AAs that revolted against the white man, not aimlessly kill due to racism. The KKK was then dismanteled and later re-established as the evil one that exists today.
Figured I would educate you a bit on that one.
