460K for North America (i.e. US+Canada)
30K rest of world, i.e. only one other market, probably Mexico.
That spells globally in the USA to me.
Actual globally will be after EU and every country that is covered by RoW launches.
Anyway, OT There is nothing Nintendo can do now, or possibly ever in terms of appealing to the hobbyist gamer. Nintendo has it's core audience (and I don't mean "hard core gamer", I mean gamer who buys every Nintendo home console) and it's not very big. If Nintendo is going to do anything to sustainably incrfease market share it needs to go for first console buyers in a way that the Nintendo console does not seem like a "my first console" after which you "graduate" to the Xbox, PS or PC for gaming.
