Nintendo is now making good profit on each sold console with current price, and 1st party games are selling very good, about 90% of all sold Wii U games are 1st party, and most important, Wii U owners are satisfied with Nintendo support.
On other side, Microsoft currently taking losses with Xbox One, but they are Microsoft and surely they can afford them.
