No, I was explaining the 3rd party games that companies seek out for exclusivity are often desired by consumers of a competiting platform. Bayonetta 2 is a good example of that as well.

You somehow came to conclusion MS does that because their 1st party is weak, that's a ridiculous response. Their 1st party is strong and they can afford to do some moneyhatting, like Sony did when they had more money.

I think Titanfall was a bad move by EA. Not just because PS4 is popular, but because that game should have been made to as big of audience as possible. Even Playstation exclusivity would have been a bad move. I see Playstation fans being bitter about not getting Titanfall and try to spin it as a bad game.

If the PES series continues to grow in quality the situation for Konami will get better without help from Sony. Or maybe MS should moneyhat PES if the series grows in popularity. They can afford it.

Just no. MS first party is week. For all the money they have, they still need to reply on moneyhatting 3rd party games to make a decent exclusive list.

Sony and Nintendo don't need to do such things although will occasionally buy 3rd part exclusives.

Titanfall has a lot of potential but it was half a game released at full price. IW prob had production issues (think they had a small team). But the sequal has an awful lot to improve on. Agreed about it being exclusive for either platform, ultimitely that's going to damage it going forward.

Pes has been improving but the sales keep getting worse. Fifa's grip is getting stonger by the year. It's almost impossible for them to get back but making the better game every year would help.

Lastly if MS moneyhatted PES that would be the end of the series. They bundled it heavily one year and it's sales were still way less than it's PS counter part. If it went exclusive now for xbox it's lights out. I find it funny how you suggest that for MS but you don't think going with Sony where it sells 90% of it's sales would be a better idea.

PES PS4 vs X1 is 13 -1. Just think about that.

Just yes, MS 1st party is better. And again, Sony and MS excel in some genres where the other does not.

Sony can't really afford to money hat anymore, I bet they would if they could and they did in the past. Nintendo can afford to moneyhat and have, I think they regret the deal they made with Sega at the moment.

Saying Titanfall is half a game like saying The Order 1886 is half a game for just being single player. Also, I'd argue great multiplayer has more value than a single player campaign. I've spent more time with Titanfall than most single player experiences.

If MS moneyhatted PES maybe the hardcore PES fans would go to Xbox! It was just an idea. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition sold a lot better on Playstation but MS somehow got the timed exclusivity. Hence, MS just has to pay to make up the difference, right? PES is a cheaper game to moneyhat than Tomb Raider.
