Here we go, you're turning this into a console war discussion.

MS has arguably better 1st party games than PS4 at the moment. MS doesn't have anything to combat Uncharted 4, while Sony doesn't have anything at par with Halo 5. Neither company has the best games in all genres.

EA knew Titanfall was going lose out on millions of sales by being exclusive to Xbox regardless if they thought it was going to sell better on Xbox.

Getting PES as an exclusive isn't going to benefit Sony much since its not a desired by Xbox owners. Simple as that.

i'm merely answering the replies put forward to me. no need for the defensive post.

MS arguable has better exclusives but they're paying money to make multiplatform 3rd party titles exclusive instead of developing their own. Case in point Tomb Raider. Sony go out and create uncharted. MS go and buy a multi game for timed exclusiveness.

Obviously EA knew that but the price paid was about a half to a 3rd of what it would of been if they knew what a monster the PS4 would be.

It's not going to benefit Sony much, I never said that but if done the way I said it can benefit both parties more than the current situation is. Have you not read all my posts and the OP? If so you should have picked that up.

No, I was explaining the 3rd party games that companies seek out for exclusivity are often desired by consumers of a competiting platform. Bayonetta 2 is a good example of that as well.

You somehow came to conclusion MS does that because their 1st party is weak, that's a ridiculous response. Their 1st party is strong and they can afford to do some moneyhatting, like Sony did when they had more money.

I think Titanfall was a bad move by EA. Not just because PS4 is popular, but because that game should have been made to as big of audience as possible. Even Playstation exclusivity would have been a bad move. I see Playstation fans being bitter about not getting Titanfall and try to spin it as a bad game.

If the PES series continues to grow in quality the situation for Konami will get better without help from Sony. Or maybe MS should moneyhat PES if the series grows in popularity. They can afford it.
