Honestly, when I saw him pop up, I thought it was Donald Glover, so my immediate reaction was 'this must be a joke'.
Also, all stormtroopers are clones of boba, so either that was actually a rebel in disguise, or they've changed canon.

I've read that after the Empire formed, Stormtroopers became simple conscripts from everywhere around the galaxy..
