Simple - Baseball has 162 games and is a purely capitalist sport. Football has a shorter season and there are salary caps.
Any MLB player who stays in the big leagues for a full year gets ~$300,000. Pretty sure thats the league minimum.
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.
