Kmart near my house does not sell Wii U or Vita products anymore- Smash was too little too late?

Isn't KMart basically one step away from bankruptcy? Probably need to clear space for things that are absolutely guaranteed to move off the shelves this time of the year. This isn't even a knock on Wii U, but KMart is pretty desperate these days.
